THE iSIGHT FLIGHT PATH OF LIFE

MIL-STD-1530 — AN AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY PROGRAM (ASIP), OVERLAID ONTO YOU
You’ve met your material. This is the program it lives inside — five tasks, three sights, one wave. Where you’ve been, who you are, and where you’re going. From why to i.
WHY 1530?THE IDEA
01THE OVERLAY
MIL-STD-1530 is how the U.S. Air Force keeps a structure sound for its entire service life — an Aircraft Structural Integrity Program, or ASIP. It finds where an airframe will crack before it cracks, sets the inspections, and manages the fleet for decades. iSight Laboratories overlays that ASIP discipline from airframes onto people. Same five tasks. Same physics of fatigue. Same wave.
THE PRINCIPLE
A material doesn’t fail because it’s weak. It fails because it flew the wrong mission, too many cycles, without inspection. People are no different.
THE METHOD
Characterize the material. Predict the life. Verify against real data. Plan the maintenance. Manage the whole span — then repeat.
A working hypothesis, not yet a proven gauge. Reading a person as a fatigue-loaded material is a metaphor still under test — being validated against real lived data. Until that matures, treat its output as directional, not diagnostic.

The real axis is what gets measured. The i axis is the interior — the part no instrument reads. Growth runs through the descent; the trough is where the data is. You’re standing in it now. Climb out toward foresight, and the wave continues.
